thoughts on the things I'm listening to, reading and watching.
"What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss. Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?" (Nick Hornby, High Fidelity)

I like the new blog layout Graham...
Not sure if Rock Bottom is curently available in the UK on CD? I searched on Amazon but found only overseas traders, so I downloaded it.
My other recent purchases, still waiting for delivery, are 'First Utterance' by Comus, 'Now We Are Ten', Trunk Records sampler and a bargain at £4, and the first Rachel Unthank cd which will hopefully be here today.
Still very much enjoying the last two Broken Family Band cds, looking forward to them at SSW and Green Man.
